| Introduction | I've worked in social housing for nearly 30 years after starting my career in policy and research at Greater London Council. I was Director of Housing at Hounslow Homes, one of the first ALMO to achieve a three star inspection, before coming to Wolverhampton Homes as Chief Executive in 2007 and the additional role of Strategic Director of Housing at City of Wolverhampton Council in 2015. I was inspired to pursue a career in housing after seeing the seminal film 'Cathy Come Home'. Still to this day, the thing that drives me is a belief that social housing can make a real difference in our communities. |
