| Introduction | I'm Amy, and this is Lauren, my 10-year-old daughter who is in the process of having pectus excavatum repair via the Nuss procedure. There are two purposes for this blog: 1st, to keep praying friends and family members up-to-date on how she's doing and give glory to God every step of the way. And 2nd, to help others facing this surgery with their child - I found there is a wealth of information, forums, and blogs on teens and adults but very limited information and first-hand accounts of children (especially young girls) going through this procedure.
