| Introduction | I'm a native speaker of English and an advanced student of Mandarin Chinese. Chinese music has always been an inspiration for me. Even when I was a total beginner, I would try to translate my favorite cpop songs. The character-by-character meaning of "翻歌詞 fan geci" is "flip song words", but the actual translation is "translate lyrics". In my own little way, my hope is to broaden the audience of cpop the way that many non-Japanese and non-Korean speakers listen to kpop and jpop. I've meant to make an archive for a long time, but I'm not really any good at making websites. A friend suggested I try Blogger. So here I am. :) |
