| Introduction | As a mom who loves painting, music, travelling and cooking, I believe that in order to appreciate food from all cultures, you must be able to really taste the different flavours. This means "Good-bye" to additives and preservatives, and "Hello" to preparing food from scratch with natural products (and organic when possible). After tending to my children (13 yr old girl and 8 yr old twin boys), I like to retreat to my kitchen and experiment with new recipes and indulge in aromas and flavours from all over the world. I look to create recipes that I can share with people all over the globe; use ingredients that can be found in most countries/markets and reciprocate this sharing. Being a Colombian native (South America) the food I prepare tends to be rich in flavour and color. Since I also speak Spanish, I will have posts in Spanish and answer to requests from Spanish-speaking readers :) But enough about me. Let's go do some cooking in a FLASH! Welcome to MICOCINAFLASH!
