Introduction	Andrew Lochhead is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, curator, and arts administrator interested in exploring Western culture and the discourses, institutions and historical trajectories that have informed and shaped our contemporary zeitgeist. Through an interdisciplinary practice that combines artistic collaboration, community engaged arts practice, academic research, performance, intervention and play, Lochhead has sought to illuminate and subvert the powerful social and economic forces active in the seemingly innocuous, banal and ephemeral aspects of popular cultural production and the experience thereof. Recently, Lochhead’s work as an arts administrator and his attempts to controversially reconcile this with in his artistic practice, have lead him into a collaborative endeavour with fellow administrator and artist Alana Bartol. Together as the cheekily named “A-Team” the pair have begun further developing a body of work where the critical and actual intersections between these identities converge, emerge and remain divergent.
