When your science teacher smashed a frozen rose with a hammer, did you warm the petals to bring them back to life?
I gathered them into the Sun to release them upon the soft, sweet breath of Wind. The Moment, holding a strange kind of beauty, was filled with haunting echoes of emptiness, washing over me. And while I sat there, watching shattered petals dance and play, I could almost imagine the Rose, together, in sync .. as though somehow, only then, it was actually alive. But Alas, I knew better.
