| Introduction | I was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland ¤tly reside in sunny Adelaide, South Australia. I have always liked "playing" (one of my favourite words when you really don't know what you are doing) with web pages and the like; entrigued by the design and the logic behind them. Digital photography seemed an extention of that interest adding more enjoyment and frustration as one tries to produces images that are unique and expressive. I purchased a Canon 300D digital SLR camera and some good lenses in April of 2004 and have been enjoying digital photography since. My images are my attempt to record the spirit in what I see around me; mostly for the challenge and shear enjoyment of it. I use a variety of digital programmes to process my photos. Minimal levels, saturation and sharpening at least with some cropping if necessary. Often, though, I enhance the image to a degree that I feel necessary and as any one who has used Photoshop or similar software knows one can play for ever. Anyway, I place my images on the web so that they maybe enjoyed by whom ever comes across them. A comment on my images or blog is always appreciated. |
