| Introduction | Son of Salvation Army officers. Joseph has been involved in mainstream Salvation Army music making as Young People's Singing Company Leader, Songster Leader, Bandmaster, & as instructor at music camps around Nigeria Territory. An able and captivating speaker and a gifted composer, Joseph is a godly man of boundless energy and enthusiasm in the work of the Lord. Joseph serves the Akwa Ibom West Division of The Salvation Army in Nigeria as Music & Other Creative Arts Ministries Director - providing leadership, direction and creative programming for all phases of music ministry and other gospel arts programmes. He's conducted the Akwa Ibom West Band since 1997. Joseph studied Fine Arts (Painting) at the University of Uyo, Nigeria. He seeks in all his living to model Christ, and has had opportunity to share his faith through music and the spoken Word at Singapore, Zimbabwe, the Republic of Congo and USA. Joseph lives in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, with his wife Helen, and together they are Salvationists at Uyo Corps where Helen is a Songster and the Corps Timbrel Leader, and Joseph leads the Corps' Young Adults Prayer Group, Evangelical Team and the Band. |
