IntroductionHello, my name is Victoria, and I am a power-scaling moleculo-cellulo-neuro-physio-behavioral-geoevoecological artisticophilosophiscientist. Basically, that means I'm a Common Senseologist (at the local pubs and coffee shops) and Ecopistemologist (around university campuses) in pursuit of a Ph.D. (or more appropriately an Fud) in Survival: for the short and long term, for her Self and this human-built system derived from existing non-human life-earth elements surrounding her, that as of this moment, resumes to remain her life support. Though, if this ecological system (the author was born and incorporated into without choice of agreeing to its contradictory, consequently irrational terms of membership) crashes and burns (always best to expect the worst and hope for the best!), there is indeed plan B for Self-Survival: the initiation of a hunter-gatherer club in the boonies of Santa Barbara. All well-rounded, like-minded folks are invited to join! We do not hold Old Boyz-Frat-Girl Club policies. Okay, please laugh now, if you haven't yet :-)
InterestsVictoria Minnich, Biologically Incorrect, Suffering from (or Thriving Upon) the Chronically Shifting Relativistic Identity Crisis aka CRICs disease (amongst various other not-in-THE-apa-book syndromes) sounds horrible eh? Though most humans my age are concerned with biologically propagating themselves, and as a result being overly-preoccupied with earning money (and oftentimes selling themselves short with their creative capabilities, not to mention they are exponentially tainting their environmental impact reports), I myself am somewhat uniquely and desperately trying to walk through life without being drugged or medicated or tossed into a mental institute (maybe this is not unique). Not to say, I have picked up some quirky coping mechanisms and eccentric vices along the way, mildly destructive to myself and potentially moderately-to- extremely humorous to yourself. My dad said there are great prospects in my getting (and holding) a job in replicating cognitive material instead of biomass of parasitic progeny, so this pursuit keeps me hopeful and preoccupied. Is transforming into a cartoon character a "disease" or an "asset"? If you read this, thanks. I hope we can talk more in the real world.
