| Introduction | Scott Carnahan passed away December 22, 2011 from lung cancer. He was 52 years old. Scott was a loving man who loved the Lord and his wife Joanna. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and cherished his dogs, Rico and Gracie. He was also a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and Sunday School teacher. Scott was hospitalized only a few weeks ago with pneumonia symptoms. It was there that the doctors found a spot on his lung and he was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. Scott chose no treatment; he watched both of his parents suffer through cancer treatments and he did not want to spend the time he had left suffering from the debilitating side effects. Scott led a full and interesting life. He lost his only son, Christopher, just a little over two years ago to an enlarged heart and it was soon after that an old friend came to Scott's side and led him to the Lord. Scott's transformation in Jesus was undeniable. He found new life and a new love. He spent the last couple years of his life engrossed in God's Word and seeking His truth. Scott loved his wife Joanna and his family and friends with all of his heart. He will truly be missed by all! |
