| Introduction | People ask Mrs. D. what kind of dog I am, and she says that my dad was a yorkie-poodle mix and so were both my paternal grandparents, and how a great-great- grandmother on that side was a white circus poodle. Then she starts in on the other side and by the time she gets to the romantic indiscretions of my maternal grandmother, a Yorkie show dog, I can see their eyes glazing over. As you can see, I'm a dog. Black. People often say cute, which as far as I can figure out is a word humans use to indicate a possible willingess to share their food. |
