Introduction	I started blogging in 2007, the first "Alive Day" anniversary of my husband, who was seriously wounded in Iraq while serving in OIF. Since then our lives have totally changed and we never know what challenge or blessing will be facing us. We are a family of survivors and are proud to know we have made it this far...and only the best is to come including a relocation in the summer, a daughter is graduating high school and looking at a bright future at college, both Rod and I returning to school, and a new life for our oldest and new school for our soccer playing son. So the journey continues....
Interests	Photography (still and action),creating slideshows,playing scrabble, traveling,cooking, Warm Weather and the BEACH, music, watching my son play soccer, shopping with my daughter's,watching tv/movies with my hubby, walking our dog, I love history, reading, and blogging! I also love dance-as a spectator these days-I watched my daughter dance for 15 years and I danced when I was younger-I enjoy watching it a great deal.Following the stories of the young cancer warriors and their families through internet blogs and making friends along the way, Bringing awareness to the issues that wounded soldiers and their families face-making a difference.
Favorite movies	Thrillers and love stories. I like most movies except sci-fi,horror, really out there comedies, and action movies with too much violence.
Favorite music	I love alot of different Genres: Whats in my CD player in my car??? Christina Aquilera, Lifehouse and Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, and of course the classic Rock-n-Roll.I like alternative rock a lot as well as someblues.
Favorite books	Too many to mention-I like thrillers, true life stories especially about overcoming adversity, I like a romance now and then. I really enjoy books written by Jodi Pincoult-I just recieved one for Christmas but can't remember the name??
