About me

Location Tazewell County, Illinois, United States
Introduction My degree is in management, but my education is weighted heavily toward mathematics, economics, the natural sciences and technology. Fresh out of college, I worked as a technical writer, trainer, project manager and corporate officer of a company which performed non-invasive testing and inspection services using thermal infrared imaging equipment-- travelling from the Midwest to locations in New Jersey to Texas to California. Trying to find answers to odd observations which only occured in a certain vicinity where my family hikes has turned into investigating anomalous wildlife-- studying creatures that weren't supposed to exist. My objective throughout has been to be articulate, courteous and informative in my essays, posts and discussions on the existence of these creatures. I confess my initial reaction to accepting the fact these creatures live in the same woodlands and wetlands where I hike with my wife and 4 children was fear. Continuing to probe these habitat areas by daylight has served to overcome fear with knowledge. As a student learning more about these creatures, my focus over time is to develop an understanding and working knowledge about them.
Interests These are indeed rare creatures-- wonderfully gifted to have eluded scientific validation and survived into the modern age-- and encounters between their kind and humans are proportionately few. Our society's elevated regard for science as being mighty and all-knowing keeps the general public media and bureacrats blissfully ignorant of the presence and proximity of these creatures. Only the small minority of folks with personal experiences seeing hearing and living near these creatures glimpse the truth. Until an investigator recovers physical remains these creatures will remain unverified and shrouded in shadows.
