| Introduction | I am a mom of two beautiful daughters. One of my daughters was diagnosed at the age of 7 with anxiety disorder and bipolar disorder. She also has sensory issues and Asperger's type of behaviors which have never been formally diagnosed. I feel like a warrior mom some days....just trying to get through the battleground of manic days she has, or the deep depressions. Some days I feel anxious and depressed myself. I love her with all of my heart but it can very challenging. My daughter is a warrior too...she is the strongest person I know. She takes her meds every day without fail. She goes to school and tries her very best to get through each day even though she may be depressed or anxious. She battles! This is our journey. |
