Introduction	Welcome to the blog of Dr Ethan Doyle White, a historian writing on religion, esotericism, and folklore. As a scholar, my primary research interests lie in witchcraft and supernatural legend, in the religions of early medieval England, and in modern Paganism and related forms of esotericism. This blog focuses more heavily on the latter topics, being the home of an interview series with scholars working in these and related fields. Originally conducted between 2012 and 2015, it was relaunched in conjunction with the World Religions and Spirituality Project (WRSP), run out of Virginia Commonwealth University, in 2021. In a professional capacity, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen and teach courses at the City Lit further education college in London.
