| Introduction | Rowland Book Collections are for Lovers and Seekers of Wisdom and Knowledge. Why Wisdom? The Bible may condemn the wisdom of men but it will not surrender wisdom to the enemy. The Bible may claim that man's mind is darkened but its remedy is not mindlessness; it is light. Why wisdom.. cuz it replacing jealousy, envy, strife, and selfishness with the fruit of love, meekness, patience, and goodness. Why Knowledge ? If you took the words, "the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel," by themselves, you might conclude that the reason knowledge is as valuable as jewels is because when you have knowledge you can get rich more easily. That's true. So What? By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is mightier than a strong man, and a man of knowledge than he who has strength; for by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory. |
