Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
No. At first, there was the stick. Our ancestors noted that it was useless for scooping up things, and came up with the stick with bowl at the end. This way, the predecessors invented the spoon. The fork, slowly evolved from the stick, due to the fact that our ancestors found the stick very useful for poking things. While forks and spoons share a common ancestor, neither evolved from the other.
