| Introduction | I am a woman who is familiar with loss on many levels. I was a school counselor for 24 years where I dealt not only with the grief of children, but also adults. I have personal experience in dealing with an extended illness with my father and his death. I have talked with people who have experienced the loss of their children, spouses, parents, siblings and friends. I also know that loss is not limited to death. Divorce can bring in the same devistation one experiences with a death. I am divorced after a 28 year old relationship and understand the aspects of this loss. I am hoping that through my experiences and yours we can journey together through this experience. |
