| Introduction | Shelby Kretz is a third year student from Toledo, Ohio, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Creative Writing and Sexuality Studies. At Ohio State, she has been involved in the Mount Leadership Society Scholar’s Program, Leadership Ohio State, Mirrors Sophomore Class Honorary, Honors and Scholars Leadership Council, and the Honors Collegium. Shelby interns as a writer for Outlook Media, and she has volunteered with the Short Stop Youth Center, the Association for the Developmentally Disabled, and North Mental Health’s suicide hotline. She is also involved with undergraduate research in depression and childhood mood disorders. Upon graduation, Shelby plans to pursue teaching English abroad for a year before beginning graduate school in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. |
