| Introduction | I'm a typical gal, married, and doing my best to make my way through life. At 30 I was diagnosed with Hemochromatosis and shortly identified some damage to my internal organs and spine. I am now a chronic pain and HHC patient and do my best to stay fit and active. I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to be a Zumba Education Specialist and through the pain and all that comes with it, I exercise daily (sometimes grudgingly) and on the weekends I train new Zumba Instructors. Though I'm not either a natural athlete or dancer. I am also NOT naturally thin, however I love what I do and bringing the idea that fitness is easy (and even a little fun) to everyone (healthy or not) makes all the pain worth every second. |
