| Introduction | My passion for early childhood is very strong. I want to make a difference in the lives of my students. I believe starting in preschool is a great way to send a positive message to children about learning. I want to instill the love of learning so they can enjoy it for the rest of their lives. Our learning never stops, and what a great way to show how wonderful it is by being in early childhood! A child told me he would never read a book or do any type of report for me in the 3rd grade. He said he hated to read and refused to. By the end of that year, not only was he begging for chapter books, but was reading them to me! I was so humbled by this sweet young man! And, he still continues to read and visit me, telling me how he loves reading! |
| Interests | "We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today." -Stacia Tauscher I was reading quotes and this one especially stood out to me. We are so worried about what our child and students will become, that we forget exactly who they are in the very present. What a great quote to remind me how I need to change! |
| Favorite books | My favorite children's book would have to be "I Love You Forever." This is such a touching book because it reminds me that we will always love our children no matter what they do. No matter how many mistakes they make or how many bumps they cross, that love is still there. I will always love my students no matter what. I want to teach them that no matter what, that love is ALWAYS there! |
