| Introduction | The Rev. Dr. Margaret Ann Faeth is the retired Rector of Immanuel-Church-on-the-Hill, in Alexandria, Virginia. She is a member of the adjunct faculty at Virginia Theological Seminary where she teaches leadership development in the Masters and Doctoral programs. She is the author of the Episcopal Leadership Institute curriculum and the Chair of the Committee on Leadership Formation in the Diocese of Virginia. In the larger Church she serves on the Curriculum Committee of the College for Bishops and is a leadership instructor in the Living Our Vows program for new bishops. She earned an M.B.A from Mary Washington College,a Master's of Divinity from the Virginia Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Adult Learning and Human Resource Development from Virginia Tech. She completed the Leadership Educator's Program at Harvard. In addition to parish ministry and teaching, Sam's personal and professional interests often wander into those liminal and holy spaces where curiosity, attentiveness and gratitude flourish. Her wonderings and wanderings have inspired her interest in writing of the grace, mystery and wonder that infuse our ordinary lives. |
