| Introduction | It's been ten years since our first “hello” when Kris swept me off my feet and I stopped him in his tracks. We were college sweethearts and are now happily married with two furry children who also stole our hearts. A few years ago we made the decision to start a family; to have children to share our unconditional love with. This blog was meant to share our story and document our journey as we navigated both infertility and the adoption process. But what this blog really documents is our 'road to hope' that ultimately lead to our daughters, Emeline and Giselle. Every set back, every struggle, and every glimmer of hope in between - all of those moments were part of our journey to reach our girls. And we'd walk that road a 1000 times more just to bring them home. As we live out our dreams raising our miracles, this blog has become a way to document their life; our life and the many milestones we experience as a family. We know our fight isn't over; because all of our babies aren't home yet, but “out of difficulties grow miracles” and we still believe. |
