Introduction	Never say never When first getting involved in triathlon in 2003 I discovered IRONMAN, my reaction ….. ARE YOU $^&£*ING INSANE !!! Shortly after I was bitten by the "IRONMAN" bug. With dreams of cracking 12 hours myself, my jaw dropped when I met anyone that went anywhere near 10 hours. If someone had raced at Kona I was in awe, they must be something special. So 4 years on I've just raced the big one – 2007 IRONMAN World Championships – Kona Hawaii. I am just like you – not anything special genetically, no V02 Max of the scale - just a little lucky, very focused and prepared to TRAIN HARD and BELIEVE. CRANK IT !
