| Introduction | Being a part of the Western Colorado Center for the Arts has allowed me to take workshops from experienced potters such as Jake Allee, Tom and Elaine Coleman, Bill Van Gilder, and Pete Pinnell, to broaden my artistic abilities. I have always studied under Terry Shepherd who has influenced the style of my pottery. I have been a member of the Grand Junction Clay Arts Guild since January 2010 so I could further participate in the local art community. I have had the opportunity to exhibit my work at the Western Colorado Center for the Arts, the Blue Pig Gallery in Palisade, Colorado, Planet Earth and Four Directions Gallery in downtown Grand Junction, Art Matters Gallery in Salida, Colorado, The Great Frame Up Gallery in Grand Junction, Colorado, and Glenwood Springs Fall Arts Festival in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. I love pottery and plan to pursue art as a career. Even though pottery is my main passion, I also enjoy dancing, photography, and theater. |
