Introduction	We are a group of deeply concerned Melanau professionals who desire to see change and who now speak out against the injustice and abuse suffered by our fellow Sarawakians under the rule of Barisan Nasional and its leader Abdul Taib bin Mahmud. We disassociate ourselves from Abdul Taib bin Mahmud who has deeply shamed us and done a great disservice to the Melanau people with his wanton greed, despicable deeds, dishonourable conduct and complete lack of conscience. We reject Barisan Nasional because of its 47 years of abuse of power, injustice towards the marginalised peoples of Sarawak and its systematic plunder of Sarawak and her natural resources. We support Pakatan Rakyat and its struggle to change the government. We want an autonomous state of Sarawak guided by principles of justice, equality, meritocracy and good governance.
