Healthy Start was established by the 1991 Florida Legislature to help reduce Florida's high infant mortality and improve the lives of pregnant women. The Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition serves Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties. In 2010, the Coalition formed a Task Force to address the issue of teen pregnancy and repeat teen pregnancy. |
