Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
I do not believe that forks are evolved from spoons. Most likely a stick was used to skewer and cook food over a fire. Then it would be natural to learn that using a multiple branched stick reduced the chance of your food falling off into the fire. Reduce your multiple branched stick in size and reshape slightly and you have your fork.
