| Introduction | #NEVIS society The New Ethiopian Visionaries Independent Society (NEVIS) is a non-religious, non-political, non-partisan, INDEPENDENT community of scholars devoted to create a forum-through its NEVIS Review series of articles and other Medias-for mature, civil and reasoned dialogue on diverse areas- political, economic and social- that affect Ethiopians in particular, and Africa and the world, at large # NEVIS Review NEVIS Review is a semi-monthly online magazine that publishes articles which are submitted by the society’s members. A five-member editorial team jointly decides which articles meet NEVIS standards and editorial guidelines, and therefore which ones are to be published. The articles may involve, but not limited to, commentaries on political, economic and social issues that affect Ethiopians in particular, and Africa and the world, at large. Society members may submit their article, which may be their own or others’ articles, for consideration for publication/posting in NEVIS Review series.
