Introduction Thank you for reading my blog! I am a gay man living in one of the world’s worst country to be gay – Uganda! I am weary of living a repressed life because of the insecurities of my sexuality in this hostile country. I am convinced that the negative perception of my sexuality as a deviant and abominable lifestyle is a construction of bigoted influential ancestors who corrupted religious doctrine and tradition to suit their prejudice by nurturing social stigma and criminalizing homosexual people. We scream with anger – not only from the hurt caused by the defilement of our humanity, but also the abuse of our civil liberties; but we morph the sounds lest we expose ourselves to more social violence and injustice. This blog is the medium of my silent noise. I yearn to be heard and hope that someone somewhere will hear my cry, and reflect whether their prejudice is justified. Perhaps then, they will begin to change their attitude and begin to respect my rights, our rights. Please Share widely to raise my voice!
