| Introduction | Oklahoma is my acquired ecosystem. Here we are surrounded by lots of wild and open spaces and our little square in town is trying hard (although somewhat slowly) to be more useful through purposeful plants and permaculture principals. My primary job is Mom to three lovely children aged six, four, and one year. I'm also married to a brass player: we are both opposed to fracking (Get it? Fracking is also the name for cracked notes). With dual degrees in Biology and English writing (and environmental education) I was once told I should read poetry to amoebas. Currently I am blogging towards a book about adventures my family has exploring sustainable food and farms and creating recipes that are cheaper then fast food at cheapernuggets.blogspot.com I also look at places and practices that enrich outdoor learning experiences at natureinked.blogspot.com I'm looking for more farms and sustainable adventures to showcase.
