Introduction	After 18 years of marriage I suddenly find myself as a single mom to four amazing teens and tweens. This is our story of how we moved forward and created a new kind of normal for our family. I am a 5th grade teacher who loves rollerblading, cheesecake and Sunday afternoon naps. Ahhh...who am I kidding? I love naps anytime! Alexis, my only daughter, is 15, plays the trumpet, is on the Volleyball team, does High Jump and throws the Javelin. She loves "doggos," memes, and hanging out with friends. Zac is 14. He is a soccer player and certified soccer referee. He loves creating his own music and he says the best one-liners and makes us all laugh all the time. Then there are the twins Drake and Garrett who are 11. Drake loves Legos, soccer, video games and reading. Garrett lives for hanging out with friends, playing soccer, and cooking. And I almost forgot our noble defender, Gryffin, the puggle. Gryffin loves walks, licking my elbows while I'm driving, (Aagghh!) and barking at everything, including his own shadow. Together we make a pretty great team and I'm so lucky to have them all!
