| Introduction | Los Angeles native, graduate of Chico State, and now a Long Beach local! The history of my love for wine and food basically started during my days at Chico State. At Chico, my affinity for alcohol was nurtured and honed to a fine craft! Whether it was a pint, pitcher or keg… it was intoxicating on many levels. Graduating from college to professional work, my palate also graduated from beer to wine! I have always enjoyed wine, but it wasn’t until a limo trip to the Santa Barbara wine region that I realized how much I really liked wine. It wasn’t just white or red, now it became more about varietal and vintage! After more wine tasting adventures throughout California (Napa, Santa Barbara, Temecula, and others) my palate began to mature. Now, I’ve graduated from enjoying wine to pairing wine with food. This is really what I enjoy the most, it takes dining to a whole new level and makes me appreciate the chefs and wine makers who have crafted such amazing products which I frequently enjoy with friends and family!
