| Introduction | My name is Courtney, and if you haven't been able to tell yet, I work for a company in Florida that sells tin ceiling panels (I'm in the marketing department obviously). What better way to get to know people and spread the word about a great product! Installing a tin ceiling use to be really difficult. It required a wood substrate which the tin panels would be nailed to. Panel by panel, the tin was nailed to the wood material. The 21st century brought innovation to this old world ceiling material with a new demand in North America. An interlocking tin panel flange system was created named, "SnapLock". The idea came from Gary Shapiro in Bradenton, Florida. This system allowed the installer flexibility in materials that were required for the installation of a tin ceiling. This new patented invention allows homeowners to easily screw the SnapLock tin ceiling panel into drywall, plaster, wood and other ceiling materials. Tin Ceiling Panels are what gets me excited. Especially these because they're so easy to work with and anyone can do it. |
