| Introduction | graduated from the National Institute of Design in 2002 with specialisation in Graphic Design. She has worked for more than a decade in print design, designing books, photobooks and magazines. She has worked as a designer with the Outlook Group of magazines, as an associate with Photoink, New Delhi and Steidl Verlag, Germany where she has designed books for museums and artists, which include the Centre Pompidou, Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson, Edition 7L by Karl Lagerfeld, Robert Frank, Dayanita Singh, Koto Bolofo, John Cohen etc. Some artists and clients she has worked with in India include Pablo Bartholomew, Raghu Rai, Nony Singh, Vivan Sundaram, Rashid Rana; The IIC, Delhi; Kunstmuseum Basel; Experimenter, Calcutta; Eliese Steiner and the German Embassy, Delhi. Rukminee is visiting faculty at NID, Ahmedabad. This blog documents some of her work. |
