I was raised a jew, but saw the light and became an atheist. I smoke heavily, refrain from being a drunken nuisance, and have no known chemical imbalances. I am also immune to leprosy. If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying 'poop deck'?
I don't laugh about it now. Why would I laugh if I were a pirate. Besides, pirates are notoriously hardened criminals, and why laugh about "poop deck" when it probably earned its name from the fact that dead sailors' bowels make a horrid mess after you kill them. Which is what being a pirate is all about, right?
