| Introduction | I’m a 24-year-old software developer. My name is Shahriar Rostami, natively written as “شهریار رستمی”. Shahriar is a Persian name which means “The Majesty”. If you want to pronounce it clearly, it is pronounced as /∫æria:r/ /roʊstæmi/. I was born in Tehran-Iran. I grew up with i486 with just 33 MHz clock rate; then I went on with Pentium II in a slot-based module. I’ve been developing on the Microsoft development stack for more than 6 years. Since I’ve been a fan of Microsoft development platforms, I have had some experience with Visual Basic, C#, Windows Forms, ASP.NET, WPF, ASP.NET MVC, Silverlight, and so on. Before that I used to program with Basic, Pascal, C and C++ just for learning purposes. I’m a senior .Net Developer/Architect and it has taken me 2 years to gain this experience; however I have to say I have acquired some experience there that I wouldn’t have mastered anywhere else. In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, reading and walking. Keeping up with the current technology trends is a challenge, so I always visit other blogs to keep in touch with new technology trends. |
