Introduction	MS (NAOE)from U.C. Berkeley in 1991. Before I became an engineer, I built wooden sailing ships. I worked on the Pride of Baltimore, the infamous John F. Leavitt, and was the Master Shipwright for Spirit of Massachusetts. For a couple of years after graduating I worked for other firms doing engineering analysis. Now I am President of Tri-Coastal Marine. We do general naval architecture, but focus on the design and construction of large, sailing ships and yachts. I am a P.E. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
