Occupation Design and Build Rustic Solid Wood Furniture
Location North Loburn, North Canterbury, New Zealand
Introduction I design and build wood furniture using reclaimed wood. Self taught, I strive to continually learn, and thus continually improve my work. I love the look, feel, and character of 100% natural reclaimed wood and get a kick out of creating something beautiful and stylish from wood that others might consider rubbish. As well as designing my own 'Uninhibited Fittings' for sale, I also custom make solid (reclaimed) wood furniture upon request. I don't charge extra for custom work, and all my furniture is extremely reasonable in price. I stand by my work, and regardless of whether your purchase is a custom order, a trademe sale' or an item on my facebook website, I want you to be completely happy with your purchase, now, and in the future. To ensure this happens, All purchases are subject to your being 100% happy with the item on pickup and if I ever have a customer who is not thrilled with the item on pickup I am completely happy to cancel the sale. As a new (2015) business, its vital that ALL the people who buy my furniture love it, as its their referrals which are helping me build my business.
Interests Natural timber, character, rustic and industrial style designs, reclaimed wood, pallet furniture, wood staining, wood finishing, home decor. Unique designs, continual improvement
Favorite Movies This changes constantly, there ar films I love in almost every genre, from horror (I am a fan of spooky, scary and slasher flicks) to drama, doco, film festival stuff, to comedy, action and your typical big budget hollywood hits.
Favorite Music Check out "Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox". Swing style renditions of current pop hits. Like wit movies I like all sorts of music. In particular anything which mashes or mixes more than one genre. Im not a fan of generic auto tuned dime-dozen churned out pop stuff, but like dance, progressive house etc, through to swing and classical.
Favorite Books Clan of the Cave Bear, Valley of the Horses and the rest of the 'Earths Children' series by Jean Auel. Also love anything by Lynn Austin, and a whole pile of other books by all sorts of authors and genres, from dystopian to supernatural to drama-doco

If you were a wrestler, what would be your finishing move?

A jumping spinning back kick. Ok, its not technically a wrestling a move. But if I were a wrestler, then already the impossible has become real, so making a tae kwon do type move legal in wrestling, seems small by comparison. And in the movies it always looks really cool. How many movies had a super cool hero(ine) doing wrestling moves??
