Introduction	I received my liver transplant on Thanksgiving Day 2007. It was a long and trying journey prior to receiving my new lease on life. I am trying to make a mark on the world through education and awareness in the area of organ donation and hepatitis C.

Favorite movies	Love the old sappy black and white movies such as The Grapes of Wrath and Ma and Pa Kettle. I also like movies such as The Color Purple, RENT, Sound of Music and Thomasina (an old children's movie I now enjoy with my grandaughters).
Favorite music	Old Rock such as Pink Floyd,The Doors and Moody Blues. Folk artists such as Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, John Prine, Leonard Cohen. Country stars Faith Hill, Dixie Chicks, Allison Krause. Current artists like Daughtry,Hinder,Nickelback,Evanescesce..and so much more I could never list them all.
Favorite books	Dead Man Walking by Sister Prejean, Sweet Potato Queen series by Jill Conner Brown and the old classics
