| Introduction | CCAB started as a research unit in Cardiff University, but is now set up as an independent company. Website www.astrobiology.cf.ac.uk CCAB's standpoint - central conjecture – is that life is common in the galaxy's billions of planetary systems, which pick up and contribute seeds/DNA to interstellar debris. In our solar system, planets and comets pick up and contribute viable spores and fossils to the interplanetary meteoroid and dust complex. The evidence already found in collected material can be strengthened, in advance of upcoming missions to Mars and comets. CCAB researches both evidence and mechanisms for panspermia, including in joint projects and collaboration with other research units. |
| Interests | We research the evidence and mechanisms for panspermia. Our central conjecture is that life (and fossil life) is common in the solar system and exo-planetary systems. |
