| Introduction | THE PHRASE "I SUPPORT THE TROOPS" SHOULD NEVER BE FOLLOWED BY "BUT." I started this blog to get out more of the “good news” stories about the troops in Iraq that the public never hears from the media. I am also distributing the stories to conservative talk radio hosts in hopes of having them read to their audiences. These are not the usual stories of bravery on the battlefield, rather they focus on observations/relationships between Iraqi citizens and US troops. I understand, first hand, what media/public negativity can do to returning troops as I am married to a USMC Vietnam combat vet who was spit on and called babykiller when he came home dressed in uniform. We cannot allow this to happen again to our returning heroes. Semper Fi. The Few. The Proud. The WIFE! |
