| Introduction | Welcome to of Food and Friends. Because both are important parts of life, I started this blog after retiring from a career with K-State Research & Extension. As an Extension Educator I taught many foods and nutrition classes. My goal continues to be “Make nutritious food taste good and good tasting food nutritious”. Now I do food things with our United Methodist Women’s group, the Kansas Wheat Commission, Community LInc community meals, and several organizations where I occasionally do programs. My rancher-husband and I live in southern Greenwood County, Kansas and grow food, mostly beef and wheat. Our daughter and her family ranch with us. and I enjoy kitchen time with my granddaughter while our daughter enjoys ranch time. |
