Introduction	A versatile self-taught artist who likes to dabble in different mediums. My rich experience in textiles has helped me to develop a wonderful sense of colours and composition. I experiment with a variety of visual art forms including fabric painting, glass & ceramic painting, water colour painting, oil painting,thread painting, decorative painting, pencil shading, clay modeling and handicrafts. In recent years, I have specialised in the fusion of silk thread painting and pencil/water colours. Not many artists around the world have the patience to work using thousands of threads, manually picking and pasting each piece of the thread to paint the complete picture. "Her work amply shows that she does not have a particular style of painting. Rather, the sheer variety of her work is a demonstration of the complex nature of her work and creative skills to present a wide array of subjects on different mediums with equal ease" qouted a fellow artist sometime back. Currently, I am busy working on private commissioned work and social campaigns besides undertaking community workshops for promoting art appreciation and enhancing skills for creative expression.
