Introduction	I'm a fiber artist, supported by my patron-of-the-arts husband. I'm socially liberal, with a global perspective. Hubby is a physicist and author. Our family consists of 6 delightful cats, which is what happens when you volunteer at a no-kill cat shelter. We live in a wonderful new passive-solar straw bale house when we aren't traveling. Having been inspired by the movie and book, "Julie and Julia:", I am now cooking my way through Alice Waters' "The Art of Simple Food."
