| Introduction | I come from a tall family. As long as I can remember, I have been measuring my growth by the mark on the wall near our kitchen. At 6'2" and 20 years old, I am done measuring myself in this way. Instead, I am beginning to appreciate personal growth in so many more ways. This semester, I am excited to see many different aspects of growth in agriculture in Nicaragua. In addition, I am excited to see how this experience away from my family can help me grow into a more patient, loving, and compassionate person. Each day I am striving to learn and grow.
