Introduction	My name is Luke and this summer I'll be riding my bicycle from Seattle, WA to our nation's capital, Washington D.C., a grand total of 3,300 miles. I'm riding for the American Lung Association (http://www.lung.org/) to help raise money for critical research, education and advocacy programs. This travel and training blog will record my experiences in conditioning my body for long-distance riding, knowledge I acquire about my bike and maintenance, the colorful characters I meet along the way, as well as pictures and stories from the different places on my journey to and through this summer.
