| Introduction | Oh how I love travel! St Marks Square (Venice), Trevi Fountain (Rome), ancient ruins (Pompeii), standing under the pendulum that Galileo theorized about (Florence), leaning tower at Pisa, Milan, Sorrento, Positano & Capri in Italy; entering the Great Pyramid, Sakura & Memphis, haggling in the market at Aswan, the Valley of the Kings at sunrise, entering the tombs of the Kings & Queens and the high priest of King Titi, cruising the Nile in Egypt; eating hot waffles in Brussels; walking through Versailles, dining on the Eiffel tower, climbing the stairs to the top of Notre Dame’s bell tower, Moulin Rouge, staring endlessly at the Mona Lisa and getting lost in Paris’ Du Louvre; walking the promenade in St Julians on the Mediterranean; the beaches of Mauritius; walking through Schonbrunn Palace (Vienna); the little quaint town of Mondsee (Salzburg); walking endlessly through the magical & mystical 1000- year old city of Prague, the 600-700 year old St Charles bridge, the intriguing Prague Castle and the city’s astronomical clock; trying to ice-skate in the open in Budapest; Capadoccia, the spirits of Transylvania; trekking the Annapurna Circuit & to Mt Everest in Nepal. |
