About me

Introduction	I am an elementary school teacher working under the the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. I completed my Bachelor of Arts Honours program in Childhood and Youth Studies with a minor in Psychology and Disability Studies at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. I recieved a Master's of Teaching degree from the University of Toronto. From a young age, I have been involved in the deaf and hard-of-hearing community in Ottawa through a program called VOICE for deaf and hard-of-hearing children. Additionally, I have been mentoring cochlear implant users and candidates since 2021. I am a type 1 diabetic, so I take part in raising awareness for type 1 diabetes as well. I loves Bollywood and Contemporary dancing and performed at multiple venues in Ottawa. I am also passionate about makeup artistry, photography and videography.
