| Introduction | Many know me as Cape Cod Cathy. I am an alum of two Sacred Heart Academies, Manhattanville College, a "former" and an Associate. As an online community college instructor I have the best of two worlds. I am able to teach students of all ages and still not go to work! I also stay in touch with the colleagues with whom I taught for ten years,by going to the college in PA once or twice a year and visiting my daughter at the same time. As a resident of Cape Cod,I have many opportunities to talk to the birds and enjoy God's creation in all its aspects. As a recent grandmother of my first,a gorgeous grandson,Jack, I enjoy SKYPEing with him and my daughter Trish and his father Ian in Barnes,England. My other two children Casey, an E.D.of a non-profit and her partner Shauna, live in Philadelphia and Charles,a Mgr. of a Sober House in Los Angeles also do me proud. I live in a condo community, which really functions like a community. This satisfies my need for social interaction and yet also solitude for prayer and reflection. So truly I am blessed by God with the best of all worlds!:-) |
